Stacey Duwe, CL CP APMP
President
Stacey Duwe is a highly accomplished capture and proposal expert with a proven track record of success in securing billions in contracts across diverse sectors. As a leader, she fosters collaborative and inclusive teams, driving continuous improvement and empowering individuals to excel. Stacey is APMP Practitioner certified, was a recipient of APMP’s inaugural class of 40 under 40 (2017), and has served on the Greater Midwest Chapter Board of Directors in various capacities over the years, including: Publications Chair (2017); Secretary (2018); Vice President (2019 & 2024); President (2020); Website Chair (2021); and Virtual Consultant Networking Chair (2022). Stacey also completed the APMP Leadership Academy in 2024.

Andrea Dunger, CF APMP
VICE PRESIDENT
Andrea Dunger is an accomplished Proposal Writer/Manager with over 20 years’ experience in the proposal industry, serving both the private and public sectors. Andrea is happy to share her knowledge with her co-workers. Andrea earned her APMP Foundation Certification in 2011, and has served on the Greater Midwest Chapter Board of Directors in different capacities including Events Committee, Events Chair, Vice President, and President.

Bette Sturino, CP LA APMP
Secretary
Bette Sturino has 25+ years of experience in proposal management and has been an APMP member since 2007. She is a thought leader, coach, and resource for proposal and sales teams within her network and is the Senior Manager of the North American Treasury & Payment Solutions Proposal Team at BMO Bank N.A. Bette graduated from the APMP Leadership Academy in February 2025 and achieved her APMP Practitioner Certification in 2016. She served on the APMP International Board of Directors (2021-2023) and has experience since 2013 supporting the Greater Midwest Chapter Board in various roles, including Chapter President (2018). Bette was awarded the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award from the APMP Greater Midwest Chapter and enjoys being a mentor to emerging leaders. As secretary, Bette is responsible for coordinating board meetings, member webinars, and record keeping.

Lauren Fihe, CF APMP
Treasurer
Lauren Fihe is an experienced nonprofit and public-sector professional specializing in grant writing, fiscal strategy, and resource development. She currently serves as a proposal manager for a national nonprofit focused on education and workforce development. Lauren joined APMP in 2025 and is excited to support the Treasurer role while delving more into all APMP offers.

Melissa Willett, CPP AI-M APMP
Mentorship Chair
Melissa Willett is an experienced communications professional, team leader and people manager. For more than 20 years, she has practiced journalism, internal communications and strategic communications–nine years of which have been managing proposals and staff in the architecture/engineering/construction and consulting industries. She has a proven track record for delivering winning proposals while meeting tight deadlines, managing conflicting demands and leading cross-functional, remote teams. She is a skilled project manager, marketing strategist and data analyst. Melissa has been a member of APMP since 2016. As mentorship chair, Melissa oversees the Greater Midwest Mentorship Program. This annual program has been running for more than 10 years and focuses on pairing proposal management professionals who want to foster their personal/professional growth and build relationships in the industry.

Danielle Boyce, CF APMP
Membership Chair
Danielle Boyce has been a proposal management professional for 11 years, currently serving as Pursuit and Proposal Manager at Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. Throughout her career, Danielle has managed the complete proposal lifecycle for Federal, Commercial, and SLED opportunities. She employs a collaborative approach to identify and implement innovative ideas and creative solutions that enhance organizational culture and reputation. Danielle holds the APMP Foundation Certification and has served the Greater Midwest Chapter board as membership chair since 2023. She established the chapter’s Member Welcome events — quarterly virtual meetups that welcome new members and provide comprehensive overviews of available APMP resources. As membership chair, Danielle oversees the active membership base across the 12-state chapter and drives member growth initiatives.

Lindsay Lange, CP APMP
Certification Study Group Co-Chair
Lindsay Lange is a proposal team manager who has more than 11 years of experience in the industry. As a military wife, she continually searches for the elusive work-life balance while building her family and career.
Lindsay holds the APMP Practitioner Certification and has served on the Greater Midwest Chapter board as certification study group co-chair since 2020. In partnership with Kaitlin, Lindsay helped develop the Greater Midwest Chapter Certification Study Group Program. This program has successfully supported 30 members to achieve APMP certification.

Kaitlin Kousaie, CP APMP
Certification Study Group Co-Chair
Kaitlin Kousaie is a proposal manager with more than 13 years of experience. In her current role, she manages all aspects of the proposal management process, including planning, scheduling, writing and editing, review management and production and submission.
Kaitlin holds the APMP Practitioner Certification and has served on the Greater Midwest Chapter board as certification study group co-chair since 2020. Kaitlin is responsible for helping develop the Greater Midwest Chapter Certification Study Group Program. The program launched the same year offering guided study sessions and exam preparation to help members achieve APMP Foundation Certification. In 2021, the program expanded to also support members with achieving APMP Practitioner Certification.

Joe Pedota
EVENTS CO-Chair
Joe Pedota is a Managing Director with Victura Consulting. He has over 20 years of experience guiding clients through the Federal proposal process and helping them comply with the extensive pricing, accounting, and administrative regulations associated with Federal contracts. Joe joined APMP in 2019 and has served on the GMC’s Membership Committee since 2023.

Alissa Hanson, CF APMP
EVENTS CO-Chair
With more than 25 years in the proposal industry, Alissa Hanson brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to the board of directors as the events chair. As a seasoned pursuit specialist and proposal manager, she has supported a wide range of clients in the AEC industry, consistently infusing projects and events with her energy and valuable insights. Alissa holds an APMP Foundation Certification and has shared her perspectives at notable events, including the 2022 BPC – Dallas, the First Women’s Virtual Summit, and the 2022 GMC Symposium. Her skills in proposal strategy, public speaking, and event coordination make her a strong asset to the board. Alissa’s passion for both proposals and body-building reflects her commitment to growth and motivation — qualities she brings to every chapter event. She is dedicated to making reasonable effort to create engaging, memorable experiences for members and to support the chapter’s continued success.

Corinne (CJ) Jorgensen, CP APMP
AI CHAIR
Corinne (CJ) Jorgenson is the Director of Proposals for Parallax Advanced Research Corporation and its affiliate, the Ohio Aerospace Institute (OAI). With nearly 20 years of experience spanning capture strategy, proposal leadership, and mission-focused growth, she supports U.S. Department of Defense customers and partners across a range of R&D and prototype efforts. Her areas of interest include proposal and capture management, technical storytelling, cross-functional teaming, and building scalable internal processes that improve win rate and delivery quality. Corinne holds degrees in English, Management, and Cognitive Psychology. CJ is also a PhD candidate in cognitive psychology/cognitive science at the University of Cincinnati, with research interests at the intersection of user trust, AI explainability, and moral/ethical decision-making in human–AI interaction. She first served on the Greater Midwest Chapter APMP in 2015, in various roles including Communication Chair. In 2018, Corinne was recognized as an APMP International 40-under-40.

Silke Cole, CP APMP
local engagement CHAIR
Silke Cole is a business development professional with nearly 10 years of experience in proposal management and more than 20 years of driving growth across industries. She currently serves as an RFP & Proposals Manager at an AmLaw 50 law firm. Previously, Silke co-led and coached a large proposal team at a leading advisory, tax, and assurance firm, where she played a key role in centralizing the proposal function and driving significant growth in proposal volume and revenue. Silke has been an active APMP member since 2017 and holds the APMP Practitioner Certification. She is a past recipient of the Greater Midwest Chapter’s Member of the Year award (2018) and has served on the Greater Midwest Chapter Board of Directors as Board Secretary (2019) and Local Engagement Chair (2020–2022). In addition to her board service, Silke contributes to the profession through presentations and webinars that support the continued development of proposal professionals. Silke enjoys bringing members together by supporting local events that foster connection, mutual learning, and community engagement.

Amy Ryan, CF APMP
Marketing Co-Chair
Amy Ryan is a proposal manager with almost 10 years of experience in both financial technology and insurance. She came to proposals later in her career, after spending most of her life as a journalist and marketing professional. She earned her APMP Foundation Certification in 2023 and is new to the Greater Midwest Chapter Board of Directors. When she’s not chasing SMEs for information, she volunteers as a marketing consultant for organizations in central Wisconsin.

Karen Hansel, CP APMP
Marketing Co-chair
Karen Hansel is a pursuit strategist and proposal professional with extensive experience in capture strategy, proposal development, and operational enablement across complex government and commercial bids. She has supported the APMP Greater Midwest Chapter in marketing and events committee roles since 2020 and currently serves as Marketing Co-Chair. Karen holds the APMP Capture Practitioner (CP APMP) certification and actively contributes to the APMP community through certification mentorship, professional development, and chapter engagement initiatives.

Alyssa Voboril, CP APMP
WEBSITE CHAIR
Alyssa Voboril leads the U.S.-based proposal writing team for Baker Tilly, one of the largest advisory CPA firms. Her team’s work was recognized globally as a finalist for APMP’s Bid Team of the Year award, and Alyssa is an APMP 40 Under 40 recipient who has presented at APMP conferences and webinars. With more than 10 years of experience guiding proposal teams through mergers, rapid growth and technology transformation, Alyssa is passionate about helping proposal professionals navigate change. Alyssa is committed to strengthening the proposal profession through community, shared learning and leadership that empowers people to do their best work.

Bruce Farrell
BOARD ADVISOR
Bruce Farrell was a proposal manager and worked in business communications and development for 30 years. He was responsible for developing proposals and presentations for the management consulting practice. Bruce presented at conferences across the country on print and presentation design. In 2020, a bicycle accident left Bruce with a traumatic brain injury, leaving him with aphasia. Learn more about his story here.
Bruce is an APMP Fellow, and he continues to serve on the APMP International Board of Directors. He has supported the Greater Midwest Chapter board for over 10 years. As Bruce continues his healing journey following his accident, he will serve as an advisor to the board and help guide chapter decisions based on his insights as a thought leader and active member of the proposal management industry.
